About Tam Goldsmith
Tam is the Marketing Director at The Brand Designer. Her design studio is based in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, where she offers a very bespoke and personal brand development & design service to clients globally. Tam takes her clients through the process of creating a personal brand, from the start point of a vision board to the finish point of a new logo and branding guidelines.
Tam also provides marketing and needed additional support for some of her client work, Tam approached First Rate PA to support her and her clients with social media, blogs and newsletters. As Tam’s business has expanded, she has become overwhelmed with work, so she was looking for a VA to help relieve her workload, whilst she further develops her business with the prospect of growing her team.
Initially taking on one client brand, the task involved her VA creating social media content to meet the clients brand standards, writing content and preparing this ready to be approved by the client and scheduled on their social media platforms.
How we solved the problem
Tam was designated one of our social media experts to support her with the content creation for her client’s brand. For the first month, this involved creating 15 social media images and content to be scheduled across the various social media platforms.
Using The Brand Designer’s Canva account, this enabled her VA to support her and keep all her graphics content in one place. They communicated to each other using Asana to keep track of the tasks, deadlines and content themes. Finally using AirTable to share the final graphics and content, which enabled Tam to also share the content directly with her client.
After the first month, Tam was so pleased with the work provided from her VA that she asked for additional support on two other brands.
We supported Tam for four months until she was then in the position to take on a full time member of staff as part of her team due to the increasing growth of her business.
Tam was delighted with the service that First Rate PA offered her and will be looking to come back to us with more work in the future as she continues to grow her business.
